扭王字块（accropode），护面块体的一种，由三个杆件组成，两端杆件平行，中间的杆件正交于两端杆件，形状上像汉字的“王”字中间一横90度扭转，又叫“扭王体”或“钩连块体”。材料为混凝土，通过定型模板一次性浇筑完成，一般为纯混凝土浇筑，但当扭王字块重量大于40t时，应予配置钢筋或其他防断裂的加强措施，例如加大腰杆的直径尺寸等，以加强块体的抗断裂能力。一般安放在防波堤最外面一层，通过削弱波浪的冲击力保护防波堤。

扭王字块的安装分为：规则摆放和不规则摆放两种方式，以后者最为常见。

扭王字块的安放要求：数量偏差不能超过5%；相邻块体摆放姿势不宜相同；必须有一半杆件（3个端点）与垫层接触。
